In this little Shaker Heights, Ohio interior/exterior renovation project, we removed a dining room window and part of an exterior wall, reframed the opening, installed the door and did tuck pointing, electric, and painting work.
The homeowner was particularly concerned about security while the project was going on so a key goal was to minimize the amount of time the opening was without a window or a door. We started the project on a Monday morning and had the new door in the hole, and secure, two days later on Wednesday. The home had a temporary enclosure for only two nights. The client was pleased.
