An Ingenious Home Office and Guest Room with Hidden Treasures

This fun and functional home office in Cleveland Heights, Ohio includes custom built cabinetry that cleverly hides a drop-down desk and a queen sized Murphy bed. Other details include fully adjustable shelves, brightly painted textured wallpaper, an articulated wall-mounted TV, a magnetic dry erase board, and lots of lots of storage. It also connects directly to a remodeled sunroom that has turned into a favorite hangout spot for our client’s cats.

The desk and bed both fold up and away. With everything folded away, the unit looks like a standard entertainment center.

A space-saving fix for an underutilized guest room. It’s a storage and shelving unit, desk and bed all in one!

A flat screen TV is on an articulating mount. A standard queen sized bed can be folded down when guests are in town.

A magnetic dry erase board is useful at the desk. Creative design, hidden hardware and precision craftsmanship allow for multi-purpose use.

Fully adjustable shelves sit on each side. Striking wallpaper and paint selections bring life to the bright white unit.

A raised texture wallpaper draws the eye in. A backdrop of paintable, textured wallpaper creates a unique design statement in an unexpected spot.
