Mid-Century Modern Master Suite

Featured in the magazine, New American Luxury, this sleek Ohio City master suite project makes the most of limited square footage while still achieving all of the client’s goals. The highly efficient layout provides both a sense of openness as well as privacy when necessary. An unusually-shaped bathtub was the inspiration for the angled layout of the key elements including the custom cabinetry, a 2-person shower, sliding doors, tile  and more. The selection of cherry wood was used to coordinate with the client’s existing master bedroom furniture. Every piece of cherry in the bathroom, including the two 200+ pound sliding doors, was designed, specified and handmade to exacting standards, in some cases far exceeding quality control requirements typical of the residential custom market. The German engineered and manufactured Duplex track system is so well-made, and well-balanced, the client’s cat can easily slide either door open without assistance.
