We are proud to announce that we have won the National Kitchen + Bath Association (NKBA) Ohio State Chapter, Northern Ohio Region 2017 “Most Innovative Kitchen” Award, for the kitchen we designed as part of this extensive Chadbourne Road remodeling project in Shaker Heights.
The National Kitchen + Bath Association (NKBA) is a non-profit trade group that promotes professionalism in the kitchen and bath industry. Established in 1963 as a network of kitchen dealers, it has evolved into the premier association of industry professionals.
Today, the NKBA represents an unparalleled network of peers, tools and resources designed to support professional growth and business success.
NKBA Ohio State is the chapter that brings together local Ohio Kitchen & Bath distributors, retailers, remodelers, manufacturers, fabricators, installers, designers, and other professionals – and provides a resource for local consumers to research, educate and connect with Ohio State Kitchen and Bath professionals.
To determine the award winners, the judges considered a list of criteria including safety & ergonomics, elements & principles of design, design & planning, creativity and presentation. The judges were all NKBA-certified professionals.
“We are very proud of the work we did on the Chadbourne Rd. kitchen remodel,” says Jim Karlovec. “This kitchen remodel project was part of a larger whole-house remodel that had an expansive goal set, plus some unusual challenges. It was very gratifying for both our team and our client to come up with innovative solutions to address their needs.”
The Karlovec & Company team takes pride in understanding not only the big picture goals of every project, but also the seemingly endless number of finer details that truly differentiate well run, high-quality projects from the average remodel.
For over 20 years, homeowners have trusted Karlovec & Company to deliver inspired design, master craftsmanship, excellent project management, and superior customer service.
